It’s called “Nichiren in Exile” on fuji arts but “Swirling Snow (Tomoe no yuki)” on the public sources
Visited Mokuhankan to see their prints and meet Dave
Went to a second location and tried that, but also tapped out. :(
Ikebukoro to check out Animate. Supposedly huge collection of anime BD/DVD and Manga, but it felt like it was 90% merchandise. I guess I’m a boomer for wanting physical media?
Ikebukoro station near the stairs to platform 1. 😀 female toilet accidentally closer than male
Back to Shinjuku to visit the massive Yodobashi campus. Turns out the luggage section was … fairly meh? Especially after getting a bit turned around in S station, and stuck behind SO MANY PEOPLE JUST BLOCKING THE PATH OH FFS JUST CLEAR A LANE¿!
I was looking for a carry on bag to take my souvenir valuables home and ended up at BIC camera anyway. Tax (10%) off then another 5% for using my VISA was… curious but handy :)
Back to the hotel because I’m so very done by this point and need to do washing. I honestly can’t tell if I smell, but I know I FEEL horrible all over.
1000¥ later plus another cycle to dry out my unmentionables since they stayed wet in the bag, and it’s off to find some random supermarket supplies.
Coco Ichiban for dinner, because I hadn’t had … just a curry while I was here. Was good.
“Escape the fire by putting a plastic bag over your head” is such a vibe. Hotel TV comes on automatically here so I get some random menu videos
“It’s not fireproof so it’ll melt on your face, be careful”
