A Walk Along a Beach

A lady pointed and cackled the other day and the only word I recognised was “grandmother” because I was a little stooped over and walking like her… pretty sure she’d run over and help me cross the street today 😂

Hike done. Everything starting from my hips down is angry. Wept a bit at the end, pretty sure there’s a bit more to come when I finally can curl up in the shower.

No monkeys, or bears, saw a tour group on the ascent of the second climb, and this one random dude who popped up at the peak, took a photo of the shrine, turned around and walked back down.

Morita san

Got there. Something wrong with my shoes, if my left foot was on fire it’d probably have been an upgrade.

I wept quietly in a corner. It was a relief.

Let’s go home… or at least back to the hotel!

I think I broke another Japanese school girl. As I went to get off the train my knees said no to lifting my carcass out of the seat, so I mindlessly reached up for the rail near the roof and pulled myself up, then had to dodge because it was below head height… I noticed out of the corner of my eye her jaw dropped, caught herself, covered up and then started chittering to her friend and nudging her… 😂 I grinned at her and she just about crawled under the seat

More yakiniku from the place next to the hotel, which I’d happily go back to. It’s not that it was amazing, or the service was stellar, or anything, it was just … nice.
