Iceland Day Four

quick stop at Fjaðrárgljúfur, a lovely little gorge near the guesthouse

drove back to Vik

joined the Arctic Adventures ice cave under the volcano tour - Katla caldera.

with stephan, the 17 year old driver, his first day on the job

a bit of inforamtion about katla - 100km^2 caldera, quite overdue

expected (as it’s full of glacier) to create ~6x amazon river water flow

will add a few km of coastline

If we stopped every time we saw some incredible scenery, we’d literally never leave. But we did stop a few times. :)

quite the walk, my knees are aching and I’m glad I bought and brought some walking sticks, I think I’d be (more of) a cripple right now
